Installation and Operation Notes
Before installing Version 3 please read the notes on setting student batch numbers as you will need to set them during installation. If you find that this does not work for any reason, use the Set QuickScan Batchcodes utility on the System Menu in StatScan. Even if you are only installing QuickScan, StatScan should also be installed for viewing and reprinting QuickScan Reports as well as general system management.
If you do not have sufficient access rights to install programmes you will get a message "Corrupt Installation Detected" and the installation will be halted.
If your organisation has its own tech support team, please contact them before attempting any of the suggestions made on these pages. Your machine may be specially configured, or your network may differ in setup from a personal stand-alone machine.
